Independent Medical Education

Independent Medical Education

Independent Medical Education Grants and Sponsorships are the cornerstone of supporting our patients by providing funds for the continuing medical education of healthcare professionals.*(Dear Health Care Provider, Please be informed that for the foreseeable future, CSL Behring Canada has paused their funding program for Grants and Donations requests. We value contributing to Canadian initiatives that improve the lives of patients and will make it a priority to inform you when our status changes. For any inquiries, please contact us at Canada.FundingRequest@cslbehring.com)

As a cornerstone of supporting our patients, CSL Behring provides funds for independent medical education activities for healthcare professionals. Funding in the form of grants and sponsorships is issued to support programs where CSL Behring does not control, influence or participate in the design of the educational activity. Supported program types include, but are not limited to, medical seminars and symposia, sessions at physician specialty meetings and conventions, and accredited web-based learning

Grants and sponsorships to support independent medical education are provided in a manner that preserves the independence of educational programs from commercial influence and complies with applicable laws and regulations and the Innovative Medicines Canada Code of Ethical Practices.

Funding of independent medical education is never offered or provided as an incentive to prescribe, recommend, dispense, purchase, supply, approve, reimburse or administer any CSL Behring product.
